STYLE SURVEY:  LILY KWONG
Aside from setting an expectation for impeccable taste and flawless style, you can count on Lily Kwong to flaunt the best accessory to any outfit: a smile.  This model/socialite is not only notably intelligent with a degree from Colombia University, but is also a frequent contributing writer and philanthropist.  We love Lily for her clean and well tailored approach to fashion, plus that sick squash blossom necklace over her simple white dress doesn’t hurt either!

Okay ….   I am aware of the fact that this is an American formulated Holiday. Also, that the ‘first’ Thanksgiving was the beginning of the proposed exterimination of the Native American Indians, by settlers from Europe, who had no prior rights to the North American territory. I am also cognizant that the killing of the turkey is deemed inhumane by both advocates of PETA and vegetarians (my youngest reminds me of this). Additionally that many anti-gun advocates cite their opposition of hunting of Turkeys (and Deer, which are in now in season in the Northeast). And I am sure that I have neglected other politically correct stipulations…..
So before I receive the anti-thanksgiving comments on my submisssion, just understand that I am using this time of the season to just thank each and every one of my followers for taking the time to look over my blog and elect to keep on listening to the ramblings of a 48 year DAD.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The original name of the main character in this film was Luke Starkiller, and that was the character’s name when filming began in Tunisia. Later, when filming moved to Elstree Studios in London, George Lucas had second thoughts and changed the name to Skywalker. This did not cause a problem, as Luke’s last name had not been used in the scenes already shot.

    COCA-COLA CLOTHING AUTUMN/WINTER 2013

Yep, you read that right! Global megabrand Coca-Cola not only makes one of the most famous beverages ever, but also designs high fashion clothes! Unveiled at Fashion Rio a few weeks ago, the collection is varsity sports inspired and incorporates modern synthetic materials like mesh and neoprene to give it a contemporary feel. Not too shabby if you ask us!

Boris Karloff (November 23, 1887 - February 2nd, 1969) at home, tending to his beloved plants and flowers.
“I’ll never forget, before we worked together in ‘Fu Manchu’ (1932), during the Summer we had a terrible drought.  Boris was making ‘Frankenstein’ (1931), and I lived above him in Coldwater Canyon.  One evening, I was driving home when I suddenly nearly drove my car into a ditch - there in the lovely garden, was the monster itself, tenderly watering the roses.  Boris was such a dedicated gardener that he was afraid he’d lose the roses to the heat, so had rushed home without taking off his makeup to catch them at sundown - the best time for watering.  It was quite a sight.” - Actor Charles Starrett
